Grantham University Announces New Degrees in Information Systems and Information Systems Security
Grantham University announced today that it is adding a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security to its current degree offerings.
Primary Care Physician Shortage: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Has the Solution
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine has designed a first-of-its-kind program to alleviate the shortage of primary care physicians. The program, Family Medicine Accelerated Track (FMAT), has been approved by the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) and will begin accepting students this summer. FMAT students will complete their training one year earlier than students in the standard curriculum, and due to financial commitments from the School of Medicine, with approximately half of the debt. Through innovative training and educational opportunities like FMAT, Texas Tech is committed to solving the shortage of primary care physicians.
Photographic Exhibit About Author-Poet Angelou Opens Sept. 21 At SIUE
''Eighty Moods of Maya Angelou,'' a photographic exhibit from Lovejoy Library's Eugene B. Redmond Collection at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, will focus on the poet, educator, performer, and best-selling author Maya Angelou. The exhibit will open at the library Monday, Sept. 21, and will run through the end of October.
